A charter search is more effective when the brief is disciplined.

Charter advisory translates a private client’s intended use into a workable vessel and itinerary brief, then evaluates third-party options against that requirement.

Yacht underway at sea, illustrating charter advisory context.
01

The brief is the first piece of advisory work

Dates and guest numbers are only a starting point. Privacy, cabin allocation, activity preferences, food and service expectations, mobility needs, desired destinations and time underway all shape the requirement.

This prevents the search from being driven by superficial similarities between vessels.

02

Comparison needs common criteria

Charter options are easier to assess when they are compared on the same basis: layout, age and condition information, crew profile where available, onboard facilities, tender and water access, operating region, commercial terms and known constraints.

The aim is to make trade-offs visible.

03

Independent responsibilities stay clear

The yacht owner, central agent, charter broker, captain, crew and relevant service providers retain their own contractual and operational responsibilities. Azari Yachts does not replace those parties by describing the process as advisory.

Where specialist advice is required, the right professional should be involved.

04

Itinerary advice should preserve flexibility

A strong route balances ambition with realistic passage times, seasonal conditions, berth availability and local rules. Plans should leave room for the captain to adapt safely rather than make the trip fragile.

The best itinerary has enough structure to feel intentional and enough flexibility to remain enjoyable.

05

Continuity improves future searches

Preferences learned through one charter can be retained for later use, including vessel size, deck arrangement, service rhythm, cruising pace and preferred regions.

Over time, advisory becomes faster because the brief becomes more informed.

Continue through the yachting business.
